Blackhawk.io and LinkAmerica at the GSE Expo 2025
Last week, the Blackhawk.io and LinkAmerica teams were proud to exhibit at the International GSE Expo in Las Vegas. It was an energising few days — catching up with old friends and colleagues from across the industry while also meeting many new contacts for the first time.
Momentum for Connected GSE
One clear theme from this year’s Expo was the growing momentum behind connected GSE equipment as a foundation for intelligent operations. Whether it was airlines, ground handlers, OEMs or service providers, the message was consistent: connected assets and real-time intelligence are no longer “nice to have” — they are fast becoming essential.
OEMs and Value-Added Digital Services
We were particularly encouraged to see equipment manufacturers leaning in on how value-added data and digital services are reshaping the industry. The conversation has shifted: connectivity is no longer just a competitive differentiator, it’s a must-have for customer expectations and long-term product value.
Servicing, Workshops, and Smart Digital Forms
For GSE servicing companies and workshops, our demonstrations of Smart Digital Forms and connected SLA reporting for contract maintenance services resonated strongly. Having AB Equipment represented on the stand was a privilege — their ability to share first-hand experience of how these solutions are working in practice made for some of the most positive and engaged conversations we had all week.
AB Equipment Partnership
We were delighted to have Peter Dudson and Warren Peffer from AB Equipment attend the show with us. Together, AB Equipment and Blackhawk.io have partnered to deliver connected, contract maintenance services for Air New Zealand.
Peter and Warren reinforced an important point: real transformation in GSE maintenance comes from combining maintenance expertise with technology expertise. It’s this partnership that lifts performance, improves service delivery, and raises the bar for operational excellence.
Looking Ahead
We leave Las Vegas encouraged by the energy and optimism surrounding connected operations in the GSE sector. Thank you to everyone who visited us at Booth #5024, shared insights, and explored opportunities with our team.
We look forward to continuing these conversations in the months ahead — and we’ll see you again in two years’ time at the next GSE Expo in New Orleans!
Thanks from Team Blackhawk.io and LinkAm
