So solution really has come out of necessity based on the amount of equipment, specialist equipment that Kim Couriers have to move the product mix that we do around the country. The cost of that equipment and the need for it to be returned to Auckland, which is the main center within the North Island of dangerous goods.

There are there are chemicals for a number of reasons that do require strict and stringent tracking, toxic product, radioactive product. So the biggest benefit we have is being able to locate all 200 pieces of equipment around the country at any given time.

It’s much easier for the entire team to see where their assets are at any given time now. Previously, there used to be people phoning other people to try and track where they had gone. We’re now we can just log in and see where they are.

We can note when they are left in places for a period of time longer than they should have. We can track them when we are low on gear in particular places. We can identify where they are and we can relocate them with much more ease.
